Most pictures have trouble doing the beauty of Camp Sarika by Amangiri—and its surrounding landscape—justice; yet illustrator Eoin Ryan wonderfully captures details of the Camp’s tented pavilions, bespoke furniture pieces, and hand-chiseled headboards for Wallpaper* magazine’s Artful Lodger column.
Writer Daven Wu points out, “It might feel like there’s little point in leaving your tent.” Despite being only a 30-minute hike from the main Amangiri resort and a stone’s throw away from five national parks, each of the tented pavilions seamlessly blend into the southern Utah wilderness and its carved landscape, which boldly inspired the custom headboards (pictured above).
“Designed by Luxury Frontiers and Selldorf Architects, Camp Sarika makes the most of its wilderness setting with private plunge pools and canvas-shaded terraces offering stunning views of rust-hued sands and 55 hectares of dramatic topography.”
