Nayara Tented Camp, designed by Luxury Frontiers, is one of a kind for Central America. The canvas-topped camp is located in Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano National Park.  Peter Jon Lindberg details his recent stay at Nayara Tented Camp in the March edition of Travel and Leisure, where the camp is also featured in the Editor’s Choice Awards – It List 2020.  Lindberg wonderfully describes how much nature is a part of the camp.  Not only does the camp feature amazing clear-shot views of the towering Arenal volcano, but it also has its own sloth sanctuary and has brought over 20,000 plants back into the area to help facilitate rewilding. Within an estimated one to two seasons the foliage will grow and provide even more jungle immersion for guests.

“It’s fair to say Costa Rica has nothing else like the Tented Camp. The guest suites were designed by Luxury Frontiers, the “experiential lodging” architects who also created Puku Ridge Camp in Zambia and the upcoming Camp Sarika at Amangiri in Utah.”
