The Daily Telegraph’s Travis Levius recently stayed at Camp Sarika by Amangiri, designed by Luxury Frontiers, to ask if “glamping in Utah with Kylie Jenner and the Biebers” is “worth £2,600 a night.” Camp Sarika is North America’s first all-year, all-weather tented camp and provides guests with an unmatched connection to nature. Levius notes that amidst all the amenities and good conversation, he had to “lookup and allow the universe to overwhelm.” Camp Sarika’s connection to its surroundings creeps inside as well, with Levius describing his morning looking through the large glass windows that face the bed as follows: “a private view of jade-coloured sagebrush, mesas and the occasional jackrabbit during sunrise.” Leivus concludes that being at Camp Sarika “made those gooey, flame-roasted s’mores seem tastier than anywhere else on the planet.”
“Designers Luxury Frontiers – based in San Francisco and Johannesburg – fashioned the pavilions, placing them 330 feet or more and connecting them to a winding dirt track accessed via personal golf carts. Some of them face the towering mesas closely bordering the resort; those with the finest views look towards the widened desert landscapes and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.”
