WILDERNESS ABU CAMP
Located on the 180,000-hectare Abu Concession, one of the largest exclusively protected areas in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, and home to incredibly diverse habitats, including the rescued and rehabilitated Abu Herd of elephants, Abu Camp's breathtaking wildlife & landscape, and abundance of water make for a life-changing journey for any discerning safari guests. The design leans away from the typical safari décor to rather complement the easy flow of nature, focusing on an array of neutrals and accentuating a feeling of lightness. Featuring 6 one-bedroom tented suites, the high, wide, and airy canvasing architectural style is complemented by interior design which borrows from local African cultures, and together they provide a unique flair only fitting for the iconic camp.
The legendary Abu Camp’s complete rebuild was a turnkey project in which Luxury Frontiers acted as principal agent completing all design services, including the development of all built areas related to the on-site elephant sanctuary and conservation program.
