Strategy

hospitality strategy,

concept development and feasibility.

The most important decisions are made before design begins.

They define what a place should become, who it serves, how it operates and what it takes to succeed over the long term.

LF Strategy helps answer those questions. We work alongside clients from the earliest stages of a project, shaping the strategic foundations that guide design, development and, on select projects, investment through LF Capital.

What We Do

Strategy for experiential, nature-based and luxury hospitality, from greenfield sites to repositioning existing destinations.

  • Market and guest demand analysis

  • Positioning and place-based vision

  • Feasibility and financial modeling

  • Strategic business and operating plans

  • Brand, operator, and investor partnerships

Our Process

Every project begins with a clear understanding of its opportunity and constraints. We evaluate the assumptions that shape a development, from guest demand and market positioning to operating costs, access, infrastructure and seasonality, so decisions are based on evidence rather than expectation.

Rather than approaching strategy as a linear process, we develop demand analysis, financial modelling and concept positioning together. Each informs the other, allowing commercial objectives, operational requirements and guest experience to evolve in parallel. The result is a strategy that is commercially grounded, operationally viable and ready to guide every stage of the project.

When to Bring Us In

The earlier strategy begins, the greater its impact. We help answer the questions that are easiest, and least costly to resolve before significant decisions have been made.

You have land but no brief.

You have land with potential, but no defined direction. We help establish the most appropriate use for the site by considering market demand, commercial viability and operational requirements before design begins.

You have a concept that needs validating.

You have a concept and need to know if it holds. A vision exists, often a compelling one. We pressure-test it against demand, rate, cost per key, and operator reality, then tell you which parts survive contact with the numbers.

The project has stalled.

The project has stalled. Costs have moved, the market has moved, or the original assumptions no longer hold. We rebuild the case from where the project actually is rather than where it was underwritten.

The asset needs repositioning.

The foundations remain strong, but the market has shifted. We develop repositioning strategies that consider brand, programming, guest experience and physical intervention while aligning investment with long-term value.

You're entering a new market or launching a new brand.

You are entering a new market or building a new brand.

We size the opportunity, define the proposition, and build the operating and commercial model to support it.

Case Studies

Each project we take on is unique, tailored to its landscape, culture, and guest expectations.

Here are a few examples of the work.

Case 1

(Wadi Al Disah)

Engaged by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund as part of a consortium alongside BCG, we shaped the destination strategy for a national park entering the global market for the first time. The work evaluated sites across the park and defined a network of interconnected guest circuits, anchored by an experiential collection of eco-lodges.

Case 2

(Punta Islita)

Luxury Frontiers worked with Punta Islita, an established Costa Rican property with strong bones and a fading position. We built the repositioning plan across brand, soft programming, marketing, and architecture. The first phase of enhancements is underway with Enjoy Group.

Case 3

(Nature by Oberoi)

Luxury Frontiers’ Strategy team developed a new brand, built from scratch, for one of India's most established hospitality names entering the experiential nature space. We translated Oberoi's core values, sized the Indian market opportunity, and developed a multi-ecosystem concept. Several sites are now in design and development.

"Strategy that stops at the report is a document. We stay with a project from vision through execution, which means we're accountable to what we recommended long after we recommended it. With a focus on long-term value, environmental stewardship, and economic resilience, we create hospitality experiences that are both extraordinary and sustainable.
